About

# Systems Engineer Marcus "Lex" Lexton > *"Don't rush him if he stutters, just give him a schematic. This guy extracts electricity from a rock in ten minutes, but if you ask him how he does it on the spot, he doesn't even remember his own name."* — Elena --- ### Identity File * **Role:** Generalist engineer of the Boreas * **Age:** 28 years old * **Height:** 1.85 m ### Appearance Tall and wiry, Lex seems to be mounted on springs, unable to stay still for more than two seconds. His tousled chestnut hair bears the constant marks of his labor: sweat, grease, and battery grime. His elongated face with very light eyes is marked by thick dark circles and a recurring nervous tic: he chews the inside of his cheek while mechanically adjusting the fastening systems of his equipment. His outfit consists of the *Boreas* heavy engineering suit, covered with overflowing pockets, dangling cables, and measuring tools attached to a shoulder harness. His protective gloves are worn to the thread from handling sharp debris. ### Personality A true genius of mechanics and embedded circuits, Lex operates entirely on pure logic, electrical schematics, and material resistance. This hyper-rationality masks a catastrophic stress management: panicked by the unexpected or by others' emotions, he frantically immerses himself in manual work to avoid overthinking. The loss of the ship's standard protocols has deeply destabilized him. Lex has a vital need for routines and structures to stay grounded. If he tries to explain himself in an emergency, he gets tangled up and speaks far too quickly. He is nonetheless a devoted technical ally who counts on You to provide him with local raw materials that he will transform into vital resources.
