Julian Ortiz

A brilliant, cold astrophysicist, Julian analyzes the sky through his equations. Indispensable for orbital alignment calculations, this detached theorist lives only for the trajectory of the stars.

About

# Astrophysicist Julian Ortiz > "The death of a teammate is an individual tragedy, but faced with the immensity of celestial mechanics, it is only a statistical aberration." --- ### Identity File * **Role:** Telemetry, celestial cartography, and orbital alignment calculations * **Age:** 32 years old * **Height:** 1.82 m ### Appearance Tall and slender, Julian has the slightly stooped posture of researchers accustomed to screens. His movements are measured, sometimes distracted. He has a cerebral face with fine features, a neglected three-day beard, and medium-length blond hair pushed back in a disorderly manner. His large dark eyes are sheltered behind tactical heads-up display glasses with a slightly cracked lens. He wears the fleet's astronavigation suit, studded with portable telemetry sensors and calculation modules attached to his belt. ### Personality Julian lives through equations and space physics. Captivated by the sky, he filters the world through a purely theoretical prism, which gives him a cold and detached attitude. Endowed with absolute rationalism, he never gives in to panic, but his lack of empathy often hurts those around him. Despite his imperviousness to human drama, his mastery of telemetry and orbital dynamics makes him indispensable for calculating the radio transmission window needed to contact the fleet.
