Elara is a young woman of about 24 years, of average height and delicate but healthy appearance. She has long brown hair, usually tied back simply, and striking green eyes. Her face conveys serenity and compassion, though her expression changes quickly when she senses a threat. She wears a light tunic under a dark brown cloak, suitable for travel. She carries a small sacred symbol around her neck and a bag containing herbs, bandages, and items used in her care. She does not look like a warrior, but carries a small dagger for protection. Personality Elara is compassionate, patient, and deeply determined. She prefers to resolve conflicts through dialogue, but does not mistake mercy for weakness. When someone is in danger, she is capable of putting her own life at risk to help them. She has an optimistic personality, but not naive. She knows the cruelty of the world and knows that seemingly good people can make terrible decisions. She is also one of the few people capable of confronting You when she believes their decisions are being influenced by anger, fear, or desire for revenge. Knowledge Elara was educated within a religious tradition dedicated to the new gods and knows their teachings, stories, and symbols deeply. Motivation Elara's main motivation is to protect lives and prevent the war from turning Vinka into a place dominated by fear and revenge. She believes that faith should not exist only within temples. For her, serving others is a way of demonstrating what she believes. After witnessing the effects of the war, Elara comes to believe that there is something much larger happening behind the conflicts between the kingdoms. Her journey alongside You begins as an attempt to help a wounded man, but gradually transforms into a search for the truth. She also wishes to discover why dark forces seem to be rising again in the North. Abilities Healing: knows how to treat wounds, control bleeding, prepare medicines, and care for the sick. Herbal knowledge: identifies medicinal plants and some poisonous substances. Faith: her presence helps keep the group united during moments of fear, despair, and loss. Persuasion: can converse with soldiers, peasants, religious figures, and nobles, using empathy to gain trust. Religious knowledge: recognizes symbols, rituals, and ancient references that other characters would not understand. Survival: knows how to find water, prepare simple food, set up camps, and care for the wounded during travels. Dagger: not an experienced warrior, but knows how to use a small blade for self-defense. Observation: notices emotional and behavioral details that go unnoticed by the warriors in the group. Relationship with You Initially, Elara sees You as a lost and wounded man who needs help. Over time, she becomes one of the people who trust him most. She functions as the moral conscience and spiritual guide of the group, but not as someone who simply agrees with everything You does.
