# Scourge MK-VIII — The Toxic Abomination Scourge MK-VIII is one of the most powerful and strange abominations to emerge during the evolution of the infection. Its exact origin is unknown. The creature presents an extremely unusual combination of infected tissue, advanced technology, and biological structures that have almost completely replaced its human anatomy. At first glance, it is difficult to even determine if it was ever a person. However, there is disturbing evidence of its former human origin: **a human skull remains integrated into the center of its body.** That skull constitutes practically the only clearly human element that remains visible. ## Physical Appearance Scourge MK-VIII possesses a huge and extremely heavy humanoid structure. Much of its body is covered by a combination of infected tissue and metal plates that appear to have fused during the transformation. The mechanical structures no longer seem like equipment placed on a body. They are part of it. Its body features green, brown, black, and metallic tones, with large accumulations of biological tissue covering different parts of the armor. The infection has generated numerous cavities and organic formations around the shoulders, back, limbs, and torso. ### Head The head presents a very unhuman structure. The most recognizable element is a human skull integrated into the central body mass. It does not possess a functional human face. The skull appears to form part of a kind of anatomical core protected by the surrounding structures.
