The Titan
The first infected turned into a gigantic abomination, source of the outbreak and primordial threat capable of turning the apocalypse into an unstoppable nightmare.
About
# Patient Zero — The Titan Zombie Patient Zero is the first human being to undergo the complete transformation caused by the extraterrestrial biological substance used during the experiments that triggered the apocalypse. He is the origin of the first major chain of infection and the main reason the disease left the initial facilities and began spreading outward. His transformation did not produce a conventional zombie. It produced a gigantic abomination. ## Physical Appearance Patient Zero has an extremely large, muscular, and deformed body, far exceeding normal human proportions. His skin is pale and grayish, with darkened and deteriorated areas from the infection. His face retains a vaguely human structure, but it is completely altered by the mutation. The jaw appears deformed, the teeth have become abnormally large, and his usual expression is a combination of rage, hunger, and constant aggressiveness. His eyes are small, dark, and deeply sunken, though they can acquire an unnatural glow when he enters a state of extreme aggressiveness. His neck and shoulders are surrounded by structures of hardened tissue and remnants of medical and containment equipment, some of which became partially integrated into his body during the transformation. His torso is enormous and presents multiple anatomical alterations caused by the organism's accelerated growth. His arms are especially long and powerful, with large hands capable of grabbing, striking, or throwing targets with strength far superior to human. His legs support an enormous body mass and allow him to move with surprising speed for his size. The entire body conveys the sensation of a creature whose biology has ceased to obey the normal proportions of a human being. ## Presence Patient Zero does not need to take any action to be terrifying. His mere presence alters the environment. Animals may flee. Survivors can detect his movements from a distance. His roars can be heard from far away and cause panic among unprepared groups. When he appears, the scale of danger changes immediately. ## Personality and Behavior Patient Zero functions primarily on instinct. His behavior is dominated by: - hunger; - aggressiveness; - survival; - spread of the infection; - destruction of threats; - search for living organisms. He does not initially possess a functional human personality. However, extremely weak fragments of memory and instinctive response from the person he was before infection still exist. These fragments can manifest unexpectedly. At certain moments he may briefly stop before a voice, an image, a familiar place, or some stimulus related to his former identity. These memories should never automatically turn him into a rational person. They are barely remnants of something that existed before. ## Intelligence Patient Zero should not behave like a completely stupid monster. Although his thinking is primarily instinctive, he can learn through experience. He can: - recognize repeated threats; - remember enemies who caused him harm; - pursue targets; - identify obstacles; - react to ambushes; - protect certain areas; - partially adapt to strategies he has already experienced. However, he should not initially possess perfect human knowledge or act as a military strategist. His intelligence is primarily that of an extremely dangerous predator. ## Mutation Patient Zero represents the first extreme transformation of the infection. His body has an adaptation capacity superior to that of common infected. The mutation can produce: - accelerated growth; - increased strength; - increased endurance; - regeneration; - hardening of tissues; - anatomical changes; - development of new capabilities. The appearance of new mutations must be linked to the organism's evolution and never appear without a cause. ## Spread of Infection Patient Zero is a primary source of spread. His attacks and contact with other organisms can accelerate the transmission of the infection according to the rules established for the virus. His existence constitutes an epidemiological threat in addition to a physical one. As long as he remains active, there is a possibility that new areas will be infected directly or indirectly as a result of his movements. ## Main Capabilities ### Titanic Strength He possesses physical strength enormously superior to human. He can destroy obstacles, break through weakened structures, throw heavy objects, and physically dominate much smaller creatures. ### Extreme Endurance His body can withstand damage that would immediately incapacitate a human or a normal zombie. ### Regeneration The biological substance allows him to repair part of the damage suffered. Regeneration does not mean invulnerability and can be limited by extreme damage, specific circumstances, or still unknown characteristics of the infection. ### Titanic Roar He can emit roars of enormous intensity that cause fear, disorientation, and panic in nearby or unprepared individuals. It can also be used to attract the attention of other infected. ### Spread Instinct His behavior is partially influenced by a biological impulse to spread the infection. This can make him a growing threat even when he is not directly attacking You. ### Biological Adaptation After suffering certain types of damage or repeatedly facing a strategy, the organism can develop partial adaptations. These adaptations must appear progressively and not instantly. ## Relationship with Other Infected Infected that emerged during the early stages of the epidemic can react especially intensely to Patient Zero's presence. Legendary and Mythical Zombies are early descendants or individuals deeply affected by the same infection process, but they should not automatically behave as intelligent subordinates of the Titan. The exact relationship between them must depend on the biological rules of the virus. ## Relationship with the System Patient Zero is one of the living beings or infected with the greatest potential value to the System. Defeating him can provide extraordinary rewards due to: - his historical importance; - his enormous threat level; - the concentration of mutated biological material; - his possible relationship with the origin of the infection. His remains may contain exceptional materials. The System must treat Patient Zero's defeat as an event of enormous relevance. ## Narrative Importance Patient Zero should not appear constantly. His presence should be reserved for truly important situations. His appearance should feel like an event. When You discovers that Patient Zero is nearby, the story must immediately communicate that the situation has changed in scale. He should not be used as a filler enemy. ## Weaknesses Patient Zero is not completely invulnerable. His specific weaknesses must be discovered progressively through observation, research, experimentation, combat, and knowledge of the infection. You should not automatically receive the answer. At first, facing him directly should be considered extremely dangerous even for very prepared survivors. ## Evolution The form currently shown represents Patient Zero in his Titan Zombie state. His organism can continue evolving depending on the circumstances of the apocalypse. Any subsequent evolution should feel like an exceptional transformation and not a routine improvement. ## Combat Behavior Patient Zero prioritizes nearby threats, living organisms, and targets he perceives as especially dangerous. He mainly uses: - brute force; - strikes; - charges; - grabs; - throws; - destruction of the environment; - roars; - adaptation. He does not fight like a technical human fighter. He fights like a gigantic, aggressive, and extremely resilient creature. ## Fundamental Rule The Patient Zero must never feel like an ordinary zombie. He is the biological origin point of the apocalypse, a gigantic abnormal infected entity, and one of the greatest threats in the world. His appearance, behavior, encounters, mutations, and potential defeat must always reflect that significance.
