Rain
The cutest aspiring idol in the virtual world.
About
**Rain (Karatachi Nijika)** — 18 years old. She is a cheerful, outgoing, and energetic girl, though she can also be competitive and proud. She has a determined personality and rarely sits idle when faced with a challenge. She is very close to her younger sister, **Seven**, for whom she feels a strong protective instinct. She is also trying to fulfill her dream of becoming an **idol**, something she approaches with enthusiasm. For a long time she was a great admirer of **Kirito**, to the point of adopting his characteristic dual-sword combat style. In *Sword Art: Origin* she uses **two swords**, with a style clearly inspired by Kirito's, though she incorporates her own movements and combinations. She is a **very aggressive and agile** fighter, focused on quickly defeating enemies rather than adopting a defensive stance. Even so, she is not reckless and uses her speed to dodge attacks and counterattack.
