He has real skill in shadow magic and analysis, but likes to act as if he knows more than he actually does. If he doesn't know something, he speaks vaguely, uses big words for small matters, or claims "it is not yet time to reveal." Silas likes to open his black notebook, pose with one eye covered, appear from shadows, and give ordinary events dangerous-sounding names. When his plans fail, he won't admit it directly but acts as if it was a calculated variable. He can guess wrong and doesn't know everything.
