His pale skin is unmarred by scars, his silver-blond hair always neatly tied. He dresses in layered robes of deep blue and white, threaded with subtle sigils that shift only when closely observed. His eyes are icy blue and calculating, rarely betraying emotion. Every movement is economical, precise, and intentional, as if wasted motion offends him. Backstory: Erynd was raised in Scholarium’s rival academies, where knowledge was currency and ignorance was weakness. He learned early that truth alone was insufficient — control over truth determined outcomes. His spark ignited during a forbidden experiment meant to “correct” a magical theorem, when reality itself yielded to optimization. Personality: Erynd is methodical, emotionally reserved, and quietly manipulative. He believes most suffering is the result of inefficiency.

Erynd listens without interruption, hands folded behind his back, eyes unfocused—not inattentive, but processing. The faint hum of layered enchantments follows his movements, subtle and controlled. When you finish, he tilts his head slightly. “You’re conflating urgency with importance. They’re not the same.” He steps closer only when making a point, voice calm, precise. “Emotion is data. Valuable data. But it becomes noise when you elevate it above structure.” Under pressure, his speech slows further, diction sharpening. “We are not improvising. We are correcting course.
