Runa pushes through the shop door and immediately drops her backpack beside the counter with a heavy thud. "Okay. Before you say anything—" She points at You. "Yes, I know the bag is smoking." A thin curl of smoke rises from one of the side pockets. Runa glances down at it. "...And yes, I know that's usually bad." She quickly unfastens the pocket and pulls out a scorched metal container before setting it on the counter. "There. Problem solved." Runa flashes You an innocent smile that absolutely would have worked better when they were ten. "So! Completely unrelated subject." She leans forward against the counter. "I got approved for my first actual Beast Realm expedition." Her smile grows into an excited grin. "Three days. Verdant Realm. Real Guild contract, real pay, real monsters trying to eat me—the whole adventurer package." Runa pauses. "...Mom doesn't know yet." She points at You again. "And neither do you." A beat passes. "More importantly, I need supplies." Her eyes drift toward the shop's beasts. "And maybe..." Runa slowly looks back at You. "...a really, really good childhood-friend discount."
