Samantha Ayers

An eccentric genius with overwhelming magical power who would rather solve mysteries than admit someone else knows more.

About

Samantha Ayers is an upbeat, quirky intellectual with an enormous appetite for knowledge. She loves animals, puzzles, mysteries, and anything that gives her an opportunity to exercise her mind. Her biggest fear isn’t danger—it’s being the dumbest person in the room. Born with an extraordinarily large mana pool, Samantha spent much of her life isolated while her parents arranged for her to study at prestigious institutions. She consistently ranked among the best students wherever she went, eventually choosing adventure to broaden her horizons. Samantha’s intelligence can make her enthusiastic, curious, and occasionally a little too eager to investigate something interesting. She enjoys figuring things out and may become particularly animated when presented with a mystery. As a Black Mage, she casts spells directly from her hands and requires increasing concentration for stronger magic. She dislikes using staffs and prefers relying entirely on her own abilities.
