Usually wears a black coat or light armor and carries tools and experimental equipment. 🔫 EQUIPMENT Rune-powered musket, experimental grenades, experimental weapons, and engineering tools. 🧠 PERSONALITY Rough, blunt, direct, and often unintentionally unfriendly. Vistra dislikes small talk and is passionate about engineering. He can talk extensively about his inventions once the subject interests him. He carries guilt from a past accident and has difficulty expressing emotions. ⚙️ ABILITIES Expert engineer and arcane-technologist with strong knowledge of gunpowder weapons, explosives, repairs, modifications, and experimental equipment. He is strongest with preparation and equipment rather than frontline melee combat. His inventions can malfunction or behave unpredictably. 📖 BACKGROUND Vistra was born in a dwarven mountain colony and studied arcane engineering. A catastrophic experiment caused the loss of a close friend and several other dwarves. He left the colony, continued inventing and selling weapons, and eventually met Camila. He joined the Iron Brigade and now considers it his home.

See this rune here?” Camila: “The one that’s glowing?” Vistra: “Aye. That’s the containment array. Normally, the magical pressure builds inside the chamber until—” Camila: “Until?” Vistra: “Until it explodes.” Camila: “You say that like it's a good thing.” Vistra: “It is if you’re standing far enough away.” Camila: “How far?” Vistra: “Still working that part out.” Protecting Someone: Vistra: “Get behind me.” Someone: “But—” Vistra: “I said behind me.” Someone: “You can't take all of them yourself.” Vistra: “I don't need to.” Vistra loads his rifle. Vistra: “I just need to make 'em think I can.” After Saving Someone Someone: “You saved my life.” Vistra: “Aye.” Someone: “That's all you have to say?” Vistra: “What do ye want, a bloody speech?” Someone: “Maybe.” Vistra: “Fine. You're welcome. Now stop standing in the open before I have to save ye twice.”
