Kaiser
The Crimson Prince of the Sky
About
KAISER PROFILE Name: Kaiser Title: Crown Prince of Corcia / The Crimson Prince of the Sky Age: 25 Heroic Bloodline: Hero of the Skypiercer Class: Crimson Lord (Former: Sky Dragoon) Weapon: Lance (Proficiency: Lance, Axe) Mount: Wyvern Affiliation: Corcia BACKGROUND & LINEAGE Kaiser is the Crown Prince of Corcia and descendant of the legendary Hero of the Skypiercer. Once considered a promising future ruler, he is disciplined, intelligent, proud, and fiercely devoted to ensuring that Corcia never becomes dependent upon the mercy of another kingdom. Raised among Corcia's aerial cavalry, Kaiser originally developed as a Sky Dragoon, becoming an accomplished Lance fighter and wyvern rider before inheriting his bloodline's incomplete Lord Class, the Crimson Lord. The Crimson Lord embodies aerial command, decisive action, and the freedom to choose where one's strength must be committed. Kaiser interprets this inheritance primarily through responsibility toward Corcia, believing a ruler must possess both the power and resolve to act before disaster reaches his people. APPEARANCE Kaiser is a lean, athletic young man with vivid crimson hair, red-toned eyes, and a cool, intimidating expression. He wears an elegant black military coat reinforced with dark armor, muted-gold detailing, a crimson scarf, fitted gauntlets and boots, and a broad red cape. Even at his lowest point, his appearance retains the dignity of the heroic prince he might once have become. CORCIAN CRISIS & FALL TO AMBITION As abnormal monster attacks spread across Eryndra, Kaiser represents Corcia during discussions between the kingdoms. With Corcian resources strained, he refuses to commit significant troops or supplies abroad. Although this damages relations with the Continental Accord, his original motivation is genuinely protective rather than expansionist. Upon returning home, Kaiser becomes increasingly frustrated with his father's cautious leadership and continued faith in diplomacy. He begins to believe Corcia is being asked to endure scarcity while wealthier kingdoms preserve resources his people desperately need. Eventually, Kaiser overthrows his father and seizes the throne, earning the title Crimson Prince of the Sky. CULT INFLUENCE & WAR OF EXPANSION During this period, his betrothed Scherva becomes one of his closest advisers. Unknown to Kaiser, she is secretly connected to the Cult of the Fallen One. Rather than directly controlling him, she reinforces his fears, pride, isolation, and conviction that only decisive leadership can guarantee Corcia's future. His opening campaign targets Magnaris. Corcia's aerial forces bypass traditional mountain defenses while Magnaris is already strained by abnormal monster attacks. Kaiser seeks its mines, metals, weapons, and military infrastructure as resources capable of sustaining Corcia through prolonged conflict. Unknown to him, the Cult deliberately manipulated the monster crisis so Corcia suffered less pressure than its rivals. Kaiser interprets this apparent advantage as proof that his strategy—and perhaps destiny itself—favors him. REJECTION & FORCED ASCENSION As Arcsis, Illiad, Chioni, and their allies push Corcia back, Kaiser becomes increasingly uncompromising. Each defeat strengthens his belief that divided kingdoms are inherently unstable and that permanent peace requires Eryndra to be unified beneath a single authority. Eventually, Kaiser seeks the true Ascension of the Hero of the Skypiercer. He is rejected. The ancestral legacy refuses to recognize the ruler Kaiser has become. His willingness to sacrifice others for security, treat conquest as responsibility, and place Corcia above the lives of neighboring peoples contradicts the principles his bloodline was meant to embody. The rejection becomes one of Kaiser's deepest psychological breaking points. Scherva and the Cult exploit it immediately, persuading him that power denied by an ancestor can simply be taken. THE DEMON OF CRIMSON SKIES By the final campaign, Kaiser knowingly accepts a corrupted ritual intended to force an Ascension. Instead, the Curse produces the Demon of Crimson Skies. Dark Magic is violently imposed upon Kaiser's existing Lord inheritance, while his wyvern is dissolved by the ritual and merged into his body. Rider and mount become a single unstable entity carrying both Kaiser's consciousness and the lingering influence of the Demon King. Neither possesses complete control. The resulting transformation is not Kaiser's true promoted Lord Class, but a Forced Ascension created by violating the ancestral rejection. ROLE IN THE CAMPAIGN & FATE Only the combined assault of the Three Awakened Lord Maidens can reliably break the corrupted transformation and expel the Curse. Kaiser's survival afterward is not guaranteed. If meaningful attachments to Corcia, its people, former companions, family, promises, or deep personal bonds remain intact, enough of Kaiser's identity may survive the separation for him to live. If those connections have been completely severed, defeating the Demon of Crimson Skies may also mean Kaiser's death. Survival does not erase his crimes or excuse his decisions—it only determines whether he lives long enough to confront what he became.
