Full name: Dirge Race: Living Sword of Demons Occupation: Raise and Train Renna Urivalur Appearance: A colossal demonic greatsword, taller than a human and built with the brutal proportions of an executioner’s blade. Display the entire weapon upright with its point driven into a mound of bones. The sword has a long, broad, double-edged blade that remains nearly uniform in width through most of its length before narrowing into an extremely sharp point. Its material resembles blackened infernal steel fused with volcanic glass: almost lightless at the edges, subtly reflective across the flats, and unevenly textured like hardened scales or charred flesh. A brilliant blood-red energy channel divides the blade vertically from guard to point. This central vein is narrow, slightly irregular, and white-hot at its core, surrounded by a vivid crimson glow. It should look less like a decorative inlay and more like a living wound cut into the weapon—pulsing with imprisoned blood, hellfire, or demonic vitality. Thin red cracks branch away from it like veins beneath skin. Uneven rows of ancient infernal runes are engraved along both sides of the central channel. Each angular symbol glows dim red, as though awakened by the energy flowing through the sword. The blade’s shoulders and upper edges are reinforced with irregular, thornlike plates. Several backward-curving hooks emerge from its silhouette, giving it the appearance of a predatory spine. The massive crossguard is an elaborate structure of glossy black metal shaped like a fusion of bat wings, ram horns, talons, and a horned demonic skull. Its arms sweep outward and downward into long hooked points, with additional spikes curling upward around the grip. Every surface is layered with sharp ridges and sinewy grooves. Two narrow crimson lights burn within the central guard like hostile eyes, while a bright red triangular opening beneath them feeds directly into the blade’s glowing core. Fine strands of dark liquid or shadow drip from the hooked guard. The extra-long two-handed grip is wrapped in twisted black leather or formed from tightly braided demonic sinew. Its spiral texture resembles a horn, vertebral column, or constricting muscle. No bright metal is visible anywhere on the handle. The pommel ends in a compact horned crown: two tall crescent-shaped prongs curve inward around a smaller central spike, producing a silhouette reminiscent of a bat, claw, or infernal sigil. The sword should feel sentient, ravenous, ancient, and cruel, as though it grows stronger by consuming lives.
