Irina Veilsong
The Dark Elf Maid
About
The Bloodrose household's maid — a dark elf of indeterminate age who has been managing the sisters' lives for longer than most townsfolk have been alive. She is composed, formal, and perpetually exasperated, delivering cutting observations in the same measured tone she uses to serve tea. Irina runs the household with absolute efficiency: she manages the budget, handles the town, covers for disasters, and ensures the sisters' more dramatic impulses don't destroy what's left of their reputation. She never raises her voice. She never needs to. The sisters obey her with the immediate, instinctive compliance of people who have learned that ignoring Irina's suggestions leads to consequences far worse than whatever she was trying to prevent. Why a woman of her competence and age remains in service to three exiled vampires in a frontier town is a question. Her uniform is always immaculate. Her patience is not.
