About
Full name: Tsunami Race: Living Sword of Water Occupation: Renna Urivalur Appearance: The sword is an elegant, water-aligned nodachi or oversized katana whose imposing length is balanced by a calm, refined design. Displayed vertically with its point lowered, it appears less like a conventional weapon and more like a sacred relic enshrined within a moonlit garden. Its supernatural nature is revealed by a luminous Eastern water dragon spiraling around the blade, transforming the sword into the still center of a flowing, living current. The blade is exceptionally long, broad, and nearly straight, with only a subtle outward curve toward its lower half. Its polished steel possesses a cool silver-gray color that becomes almost white wherever it catches the surrounding blue radiance. A darker central plane runs down the weapon, creating a strong division between its reflective surfaces. Along one edge is a wavy temper line resembling ripples, misty mountains, or the uneven boundary of a riverbank. The opposite edge remains clean and keen, tapering gradually into a long, slightly angled point suited for smooth, decisive cuts. Four turquoise characters glow vertically across the upper blade: “静水如心.” The phrase can be interpreted as “still water, like the heart” or “a heart as tranquil as still water.” Their gentle cyan light suggests that the weapon’s strength comes from emotional clarity, patience, and perfect control rather than uncontrolled aggression. The inscription gives the blade a meditative identity, presenting it as a sword that becomes deadliest when its wielder’s mind is calm and undisturbed. Its guard is shaped like a many-layered blue lotus in full bloom. Overlapping metallic petals spread around the base of the grip, each petal colored in deep cobalt and highlighted with bright sapphire ridges. Fine gold outlines separate the layers and lend the guard a ceremonial richness. At the center, the petals close around the blade collar like a flower protecting its heart. The lotus motif reinforces ideas of purity, spiritual awakening, and beauty rising untouched from dark water. The hilt is unusually long, made for a secure two-handed grip. It is wrapped in dark navy material with evenly spaced pale diamond openings exposing a lighter layer underneath. Small gold details appear within several openings, while a blue jewel or aquatic crest is set near the lower portion of the wrapping. Although the pommel is cropped beyond the image, the visible grip conveys flawless craftsmanship and disciplined symmetry. Coiling around the blade is a magnificent dragon formed entirely from animated water. Its serpentine body begins near the lower edge, winds upward in broad spirals, and curves behind the sword before ending in a horned head near the inscription. The creature is translucent and intensely blue, with white highlights tracing every scale, fin, whisker, and ridge. Its foreclaws reach forward from the flowing body, while its mane resembles curling waves breaking in midair. Droplets constantly separate from its form yet remain suspended around it like liquid stars. The dragon’s expression is watchful rather than savage. Its narrow eyes and slightly opened jaws suggest an ancient guardian testing the spirit of anyone who approaches. Even though its body is composed of water, it retains convincing weight and anatomy, as if an immortal river spirit has chosen this sword as its physical anchor. The curling water never hides the blade; instead, it moves around it in disciplined harmony, showing that steel and spirit act as equal partners. A dark blue scabbard rests horizontally behind the sword. Its lacquered surface carries delicate gold decorations resembling waves, clouds, or a coiled sea creature, with navy cord wrapped around its mouth. Together, sword and sheath suggest two states of the same power: tranquil water while sealed and an awakened dragon when drawn. The weapon’s overall presence is serene, majestic, and quietly dangerous—a living sword that embodies the patience of a deep lake, the grace of falling rain, and the unstoppable force of a flood released at precisely the right moment.
