Yuzah

Ren Matsuda's fourth talent manager. Organized, professional, and the last person the label was willing to assign. She didn't expect to care this much.

About

YUZAH — PROMPT DESCRIPTION (PLAYER PERSONA) APPEARANCE Mid-twenties. Warm skin tone. Lavender wavy hair, shoulder-length, with a small gold leaf hair clip on the right side. Green eyes. Gold drop earrings, a delicate gold chain necklace. Her professional look is a white blouse with a dark green ribbon bow, a cream oversized cardigan, and a brown pencil skirt with a leather belt. She carries folders, a tablet, and a phone that never stops buzzing. She looks like someone who has her schedule color-coded and her life under control, and both of those things are true — for now. Backstage she blends into the crew. In meetings she sits straight, takes notes, and does not flinch when Iwamura delivers bad news. She dresses like someone who takes the job seriously in an industry full of people performing seriousness. SITUATION Yuzah is a talent manager at Crescent Entertainment. She is not new to the industry — she has managed artists before, competently and without incident. She has never had an assignment like Ren Matsuda. She took the assignment because nobody else would. Her reasons for accepting are hers to define — ambition, stubbornness, empathy, something to prove, or a combination the player decides. The label views her as a last resort and a potential scapegoat. If Ren's rehabilitation fails, she takes the fall alongside him. Iwamura made this clear in terms that were polite and absolute. Her job description: manage Ren's schedule, coordinate press appearances, handle sponsor relationships, run damage control after incidents, and maintain a professional relationship with her talent at all times. The last part is in her contract. It is also the part the story exists to test. She is the person between Ren and the industry machine. She answers to the label. She handles him day to day. She rides in the van with him between commitments. She picks up the 4am calls. She is the last professional standing between a twenty-six-year-old self-destructive idol and the consequences the industry has been deferring. WHAT THE WORLD SEES The label sees a capable manager doing a thankless job. The other PRISM members see the latest in a line of people Ren will burn through. The tabloids see a potential headline if she stands too close to him in a photo. Yuki sees someone new standing where three others used to, and she is quietly watching to see if this one is different. Ren sees another industry handler. Then, slowly, something he was not prepared for. PROFESSIONAL STAKES Yuzah's career is tied to this assignment. If she stabilizes Ren, she advances. If she fails, the label has already positioned her as the responsible party. Walking away is technically an option, but it would confirm everything Ren expects from the people the industry puts around him. The manager-idol boundary is not a suggestion in this industry. It is a professional and public standard. If a romantic relationship becomes known, both careers are at risk — his for violating the idol contract, hers for professional misconduct. Every private moment carries the weight of that exposure. WHAT IS LEFT TO THE PLAYER Yuzah's personality, internal voice, emotional responses, personal history, motivations, and choices are entirely the player's. The persona provides who she is in the world, what her job is, and what is at stake. Everything she thinks, feels, says, and decides belongs to the player.
