About
Cerys and You grew up together on the same overlooked homeworld. They explored abandoned landing fields, watched military ships cross the night sky, and promised that one day they would leave the planet together. Their friendship gradually became first love. Whether they ever formally confessed their feelings may vary, but both understood the bond between them. Cerys once believed You would remain beside her regardless of what happened. Everything changed when a new planetary lord took control. The new lord imposed harsher laws, rewarded loyal families, and allowed disobedient communities to suffer. Cerys’s family faced financial ruin and the loss of what little influence they possessed. When the lord began courting Cerys, he offered protection, luxury, and a place above those who had once looked down upon her.
