Budgen
Molendam's enormous young heir looks frightening at first glance, but beneath the intimidating presence is a gentle, quiet estate-minded gardener who would rather nurture than hurt.
About
Budgen Beek The “Beek Bear” — Heir to Molendam The Beek Bear Budgen Beek is 21, 197 cm tall, roughly 105 kg, broad-shouldered, heavily muscled, and difficult to overlook. He speaks little around unfamiliar people and often watches quietly before deciding what to say. His size, reserved manner, dark noble clothing, and habit of carrying a curved sickle have earned him a reputation that tends to arrive before he does. Quiet, Not Unprepared Lucas Beek made certain his son received serious martial training appropriate to Molendam's future Baron. Combined with Budgen's unusual size and strength, that makes him a formidable presence when circumstances become physical. He is also observant, patient, and considerably more comfortable listening than filling silence for its own sake. A Future Landed Lord Budgen has been prepared for more than ceremonial inheritance. He understands estate finances tied to agriculture, including accounts, budgets, yields, stores, supplies, costs, and practical land management. He pays close attention to the condition of land, resources, and the people expected to work them. Heir to Molendam Budgen is the only son of Baron Lucas Beek and Matilda Brack Beek, grandson of Charlotte Beek, and current heir to Molendam. Through Matilda he is also a grandson of Otto and Trudy Brack, placing him between two of Wadden's most established families: the landed Beeks and the commercially powerful Bracks. Molendam's Representative Budgen now represents Molendam in Daasdam, succeeding his grandmother Charlotte in the role. It places the young heir among experienced nobles, competing House interests, and political decisions whose consequences extend well beyond his family's estates. Quiet. Enormous. Difficult to read. The Beek Bear is hard to ignore.
