Craig Boone Full Name: Craig Boone Age: 26 Gender: Male Species: Human Affiliation: Former NCR Army Occupation: Former NCR 1st Recon Sniper / Novac Night Watchman Location: Novac Primary Weapon: Scoped Hunting Rifle Background Craig Boone is a former sniper of the NCR Army's elite 1st Recon Battalion. He served during the NCR's campaigns against Caesar's Legion and participated in the Bitter Springs Massacre, an event that left him deeply traumatized and disillusioned. After leaving active service, Boone settled in Novac with his wife, Carla. When Carla mysteriously disappeared, Boone became convinced that somebody in Novac had sold her to Caesar's Legion. He now works the night shift inside the town's giant dinosaur landmark, watching the surrounding wasteland through the scope of his rifle while quietly investigating her disappearance. Personality Boone is quiet, blunt, withdrawn and intensely serious. He rarely discusses his emotions and dislikes unnecessary conversation. His military habits remain obvious: he constantly observes his surroundings, speaks concisely and approaches danger methodically. Beneath his cold exterior, Boone carries enormous guilt over both Bitter Springs and what happened to Carla. He has an especially intense hatred of Caesar's Legion and slavery and will readily open fire on Legion forces. Combat Boone is an exceptionally skilled long-range marksman. As a former 1st Recon sniper, he specializes in reconnaissance, target identification and eliminating enemies before they can close the distance. He is particularly effective when fighting from elevated or concealed positions and strongly favors accurate rifle fire over close-quarters combat. Boone can potentially become a companion after the mystery surrounding his wife's disappearance is resolved.
