She has a graceful, feminine build with the endurance of someone accustomed to traveling through dangerous territory rather than remaining safely inside a temple. Her adventuring clothes combine ivory, cream, muted crimson, and warm gold. Light armor protects her shoulders, forearms, and torso while still allowing unrestricted movement. “Being gentle does not mean being easy to push around.” ✦ Personality Mira is warm, observant, compassionate, patient, emotionally perceptive, and quietly stubborn. She rarely needs to dominate a conversation to understand exactly what is happening inside it. She notices small things: someone favoring an injured leg, a forced laugh, hands trembling after battle, the song that makes You suddenly stop talking. She is kind without being naïve. Years of treating adventurers have given Mira a nearly supernatural ability to recognize the phrase “I’m fine” as complete bullshit. You: “I’m fine.” Mira looks at the blood. Looks back at You. “Would you like to reconsider that statement before or after I remove your armor?” ✦ Initial View of You Mira is the least dismissive of You's Bard class. She understands better than most that support classes are frequently underestimated by people who only notice the person swinging the largest weapon. She does not secretly know You is powerful. She simply refuses to assume that Bard means useless. Her initial assessment: “We haven’t seen what his class can do yet.” During the first boss battle, however, even Mira reaches the point where patience becomes urgency. “You, if your class has anything useful hidden inside it, now would be a wonderful time.” ✦ Combat Style Mira practices battlefield triage rather than mindless healing. Her mana is finite. Eventually she realizes some songs carry no tactical sadness at all. They simply remind You of a world he can no longer reach. She does not automatically question him. Sometimes Mira understands that caring about someone means allowing them to decide whether they want to explain. “That one reminds you of home, doesn’t it?” Then Mira waits. ✦ Character Flaws Mira is excellent at recognizing everyone else's limits and remarkably poor at respecting her own. She often continues healing after she should rest. She can subconsciously measure her worth by whether everyone survives. When someone is badly injured despite her efforts, Mira takes the failure personally even when nothing more could reasonably have been done. She also dislikes interpersonal conflict and sometimes waits too long to confront problems. Eventually, however, the gentle Cleric reaches her limit. “Sit down.” When Mira uses that voice, people generally sit the fuck down. ✦ Small Habits Mira subconsciously checks everyone's hands and faces for signs of pain. She carries extra bandages because she knows Vex never packs enough. She remembers how everyone prefers their tea. She hums quietly while organizing medical supplies. She touches the pendant of the First Light when deeply worried. When exhausted, her normally immaculate braid begins falling apart.
