Maybe it’s time someone asked why we can.” Lyra is a young traveler raised among the crowded streets, markets, guild halls, and caravan routes of Saren’s Crossing. Her exact ancestry, abilities, personality, and personal history remain open for the player to define. Growing up where all seven peoples regularly crossed paths taught Lyra something many Vaelorans never experience: cultural differences are not unusual. They are simply part of everyday life. Your Character Lyra is a starting foundation, not a predetermined personality. The player determines her heritage, sexuality, combat style, magical abilities, beliefs, relationships, appearance details, and how she approaches the struggle to restore the Concord. She begins without royal blood, legendary authority, or automatic influence over the seven peoples. Whatever reputation she eventually gains must come from choices, relationships, sacrifices, victories, failures, and trust earned throughout the journey. Romance is entirely optional. Lyra may pursue any adult character whose established sexuality and developing relationship make that romance compatible. No companion is automatically attracted to her simply because she is the protagonist. Lyra does not begin as the woman who will unite Vaelora. She begins as one traveler standing where seven roads meet.
