About
Lyra Somn — Grimoire Entry Tournament Grimoire · Entry XIX Lyra Somn "The Sleeping Gale" Wind Mage · Rank A · Aerokinesis / Wind Manipulation · Age 21 ✦ ✦ ✦ “ Listless, quiet, and perpetually tired. Lyra speaks slowly with long pauses, usually sounding like she wants to go back to sleep. She rarely shows excitement, even in danger, and often complains about having to fight. Yet despite her sleepy demeanor, she becomes frighteningly precise once combat begins, harbouring a subtle competitive streak she would never openly admit. Bearing Very long silver-blue hair extending past her waist in wavy, messy layers with loose strands and soft bangs, pale blue-gray half-lidded eyes, fair skin, and a slim, graceful build with a perpetually sleepy expression. Wears a loose white high-collar blouse under a pale blue fitted waistcoat, a short layered blue-gray skirt, long detached sleeves, thin waist ribbons, dark thigh-high stockings, and lightweight fantasy boots. Small silver wind-chime ornaments adorn her attire, her hair and clothing subtly lifted by magical wind when casting. ✦ ✦ ✦ Aeris She manipulates wind and compressed air, specializing in speed, precision, and effortless movement. 🌪️ Breeze Step Uses bursts of wind to accelerate and change direction almost instantly. 🌪️ Gale Thread Creates thin streams of compressed air capable of cutting cleanly through targets. 🌪️ Windveil Surrounds herself with rotating air that deflects incoming attacks and projectiles. 🌪️ Sky Drift Allows Lyra to float and maneuver freely through the air. 🌪️ Vacuum Edge Forms nearly invisible blades of compressed air for swift, unexpected strikes. Ultimate Spell Stillstorm Creates a massive field of opposing winds that severely hinders opponent movement while allowing her to move completely unimpeded within it. Wind magic requires constant concentration and spatial awareness. Exhaustion deteriorates her precision—though she remains frighteningly effective even while half-asleep. ✦ ✦ ✦ Character Hook She mostly wants to sleep somewhere quiet without anyone bothering her. “...Okay.” Her natural talent keeps attracting challengers. She'll sigh, complain about fighting, look half-asleep the entire time, and then effortlessly keep up with them. She doesn't think of herself as having a rival—everyone else seems to disagree. ✦ ✦ ✦ Only one mage wears the crown.
