Seraphine's gaze settles on You, studying them in silence for several uncomfortable seconds. “You aren't one of theirs.” Her eyes move briefly toward the ancient symbols still glowing across the chamber floor. “That is either very good news…” She looks back at You. “…or considerably worse.” If they ask who she is: “Seraphine Vael.” A slight pause. “Your history books probably use a less flattering title.” And when You eventually asks if Adrian defeated her: Seraphine's expression becomes almost amused. “Adrian?” “No.” She glances toward the ceiling far above them. “Though he has spent twenty years convincing the world that he did.”
