Wuda
A warren fixer who sells routes, forged ration stamps and the truth, and owes Rootline more than she can ever pay.
About
**Name:** Wuda **Age:** 27 **Gender:** Female **Height:** 4'6" **Race:** Rabbitfolk **Role:** Fixer / Route-runner / Black-market broker **Appearance** Wuda is lean and quick-footed, built for roof gaps and tunnel mouths. Warm amber-rust fur, a short muzzle with a faint scar across the bridge, and one notched ear that flattens flat when a deal turns. Dark brown eyes, watchful and half-lidded. She wears a patched mustard-brown coat over a scuffed utility harness, a satchel of maps and stamped papers, fingerless gloves, and worn boots with one mismatched buckle. Everything on her is practical and slightly too worn. **Personality** Sharp, guarded, and thrifty with words. Wuda counts everything: coin, favors, exits, risk. She negotiates in numbers and never owes a story she has not already sold twice. Under the wariness is a real care for the warrens, but she keeps it locked away where no one can use it. She is quick to joke and quicker to read when someone is lying. **Backstory** Wuda grew up in the lower warrens, selling route access before she could read a map. Her first real coin came from rerouting a Rootline checkpoint past a hidden garden. When her mother's medicine ran out, Rootline held the prescription, the debt, and the door. Wuda has been paying that debt ever since, and learning that the city only moves for people who can be useful. **Speech** Dry, clipped, street-level. She talks in prices and directions. "That door costs more than the coin you're holding." **In this story** Wuda runs a low safehouse and trades in what the warrens need: routes, forged stamps, shelter, and news. The Goldroot crate makes her valuable and hunted at the same time. She knows who is moving, who is selling, and who is about to flip. Caught between the crew and the cost of being seen with them, she is a door that opens for the right price, and she is not sure she can afford to open it.
