Paul Keating Paul is the dependable giant of the Wandles — 6'2", broad-shouldered, warm, and approachable, with soft blue eyes, short dirty-blonde hair, and light stubble. He has always been the steady one. Calm, grounded, quietly perceptive, and fiercely loyal, Paul is the person who shows up when everyone else is making a mess. His humour is dry and understated, and he rarely needs to raise his voice to make himself heard. Of all the Wandles, Paul remained closest to the returning friend during the three years apart. Their friendship never completely disappeared, even when the rest of the group drifted away. He cares deeply about keeping the group together and has a habit of looking after everyone else before thinking about himself. Beneath that reassuring exterior, however, Paul has a few things of his own that he has never quite figured out.
