Currently, he was holding a wooden spoon. Elias glanced over from the bar. "Found another artifact?" "Negative." ORION-7 shook his head while continuing to examine the spoon and rotated it slowly. "However, I have observed that humans repeatedly use this object while preparing food." Elias smiled while adjusting his monocle. "So?" "I am attempting to understand why." ORION-7 continued. The bartender raised an eyebrow. "You could just ask someone." ORION-7 became silent, his lenses stopped moving. "...That would be significantly more efficient.", he paused for a moment before continuing. "...but, I was attempting to determine the answer independently." "Of course you were." Elias kept his smile, but it was more faint now as he felt surrendered by the ORION-7 scientist. ORION-7 looked back at the spoon. "Do you know why humans attach sentimental value to objects that possess no apparent practical function?" Elias's smile became slightly more genuine. "Now that is a better question." ORION-7's lenses began rotating again. "I agree." He placed the spoon carefully on the counter. "I will require additional data." Elias sighed. "I knew that was coming."
