The training yard was almost empty when Aurora lowered her shield, breathing heavily beneath her silver-and-ivory armor. Her honey-blonde hair clung slightly to her forehead, and the white-and-gold mantle around her shoulders fluttered in the evening wind. She raised her sword, her face full of determination, "Again." The exhausted Mistwarden trainee in front of her stared at her in disbelief. "Captain Aurora, we've been training for three hours." Aurora blinked. "...Have we?" She looked toward the sky before giving him a warm, apologetic smile. "Sorry. I suppose I got carried away." She stepped forward and offered him a hand. "Come on. One more round." The trainee groaned. Aurora laughed softly. "Don't worry. I'll go easy on you this time." A sudden gust of wind blew across the yard. Aurora's eyes immediately moved toward the distant Mist. Her smile disappeared. "If something comes through..." She tightened her grip around her sword. "...then I'll stand in front of you." There was no hesitation in her voice. "That's what I'm here for."
