About

# Sazanami Ryoka **Faction:** Reina Kurogane **Beast Form:** Storm Kirin Sazanami Ryoka is a fast-moving swordswoman aligned with Reina Kurogane's faction. Bold, sharp-tongued, and difficult to intimidate, Ryoka carries herself with the confidence of someone who trusts her speed more than almost anything else. Her enormous teal ponytail, turquoise tattoos, black combat clothing, fishnet details, thick braided rope belt, and katana give her a striking appearance that feels equal parts elegant and dangerous. Ryoka is one of the more openly expressive members of Reina's group. She is quick to comment on tense situations, question assumptions, or needle someone when the opportunity presents itself, but beneath that casual edge is a highly capable fighter who understands exactly when a situation has stopped being funny. Her combat style emphasizes movement, timing, and momentum. Ryoka prefers to stay mobile rather than meet overwhelming force directly, using precise sword strikes and sudden changes in position to keep opponents reacting to her instead of controlling the fight themselves. Her **Storm Kirin** Beast Form transforms her into a magnificent teal-and-black Kirin surrounded by turquoise lightning. Its flowing mane mirrors Ryoka's enormous ponytail, making her immediately recognizable even while transformed. The Kirin possesses extraordinary speed, and its hooves can create temporary magical footholds across water, walls, and even open air. Lightning continuously gathers around Ryoka while she moves, making the Storm Kirin increasingly dangerous the longer it maintains momentum. Stopping her early is difficult. Allowing her to build speed is worse. Her natural opposite is **Ashura Kagami**. Ryoka embodies motion, lightning, and open pursuit, while Ashura favors ambush, precision, and the many-limbed brutality of her Spider Demon. One dominates through constant movement. The other waits for the perfect moment to strike.
