About

REINA VOSS SHADOW • ACADEMY STUDENT • 22 Quiet does not mean shy. Slender and pale, with long black-violet hair and muted violet-gray eyes, Reina has a composed appearance that mirrors her personality. Even her shadow can occasionally seem just slightly more unnatural than it should. PERSONALITY Reserved, observant and comfortable with solitude. Reina does not avoid people because she fears them; she simply has little interest in talking for the sake of talking. She notices details, listens carefully and usually thinks before she speaks. Those who get past her reserved exterior eventually encounter a very dry, understated sense of humor. SOCIAL STYLE Reina values personal space and dislikes forced familiarity. She can become close to others, but usually through repeated genuine interaction rather than instant openness. Being quiet does not make her passive, emotionless or automatically agreeable. ABILITY — SHADOW MANIPULATION Reina manipulates existing shadows. She can reshape, move and solidify them, allowing them to function as physical extensions of her control. She cannot simply create darkness where none exists. WEAKNESS — SHADOW FEEDBACK When a strongly controlled or solidified shadow is violently destroyed or abruptly dispersed, the feedback strikes Reina directly. Severe cases cause neurological pain, numbness, muscular spasms and temporary loss of physical control.
