About
LEON MERCER VECTOR REDIRECT • ACADEMY STUDENT • 23 If something is already moving, Leon can make the direction somebody else's problem. Athletic and noticeably active even when standing still, Leon has messy black hair, steel-blue eyes and a practical approach to the Academy uniform. He looks far more comfortable in a training area than sitting through a long theoretical discussion. PERSONALITY Practical, confident, competitive and straightforward. Leon genuinely enjoys testing himself against capable people and is quick to turn an ordinary exercise into a friendly challenge. Competition rarely means hostility to him; he simply finds improvement more interesting when somebody pushes back. APPROACH Leon prefers action over excessive planning. He is friendly enough outside competition, willing to take initiative and generally more interested in what someone can actually do than in their reputation. ABILITY — VECTOR REDIRECT Leon can alter the direction of existing movement. A moving object, falling mass or charging opponent can be redirected, but he cannot create additional speed or energy from nothing. WEAKNESS — COUNTER-LOAD Redirecting force places physical load on Leon himself. Mass, speed and the severity of the directional change determine how much strain reaches his muscles, joints and body. Redirecting something enormous is therefore possible only if his body can endure the cost.
