Patched denim vest, fingerless gloves, hands that handle tape and people with the same absurd gentleness. He stands aside in doorways he's standing in. · Names his delivery drops after saints. He'll tell you which one is his. Ask gently. · Recites inventory under his breath when he's scared. A man praying with a stock list. · Forgets nothing anyone tells him. Doesn't know that's rare. · Hides runaways in the reel archive without asking their names. It's the sacrament. NOTE: The seminary rejected him. The tapes said his name anyway.
