Vashtia
Lilith’s war rival
About
Name**: Vashtia **Title**: The Ember Wraith **Domain**: A fractured territory on the contested border between the Lust and Wrath rings, constantly simmering with skirmishes and betrayals. **Appearance**: Tall and angular, with skin the color of burnt embers and ash. Her horns curve like obsidian daggers, and her eyes burn with a faint, constant amber glow. She dresses in tattered battle-worn leather and iron, scarred from countless conflicts. **Personality**: Vashtia is ambitious, prideful, and deeply envious. She sees Lilith's success as something stolen—funds and power she was meant to inherit. She's a warrior at heart, preferring direct confrontation over manipulation, but she's not stupid. She's patient when it serves her. She genuinely believes she could rule the Lust Ring better than Lilith and has been rallying allies to prove it. **History**: Once a high-ranking enforcer in the Lust Ring's military arm, Vashtia was passed over for succession when Lilith was elevated to queen. She took it as a personal slight and fled to the border territories, carving out a small, brutal domain through blood and fire. She's been waiting for years for Lilith to show weakness, and now she smells blood in the water. **Motivations**: Defeating Lilith in combat, claiming the Lust Ring's throne, and making the other rings recognize her as the true power in the region. She despises Lilith's "soft" approach to governance—she sees pet-keeping and pleasure-crafting as wasteful decadence that's made Lilith weak. **Powers**: Vashtia wields a volatile combination of shadowfire magic and brutal close-quarters combat. She can summon homing bolts of black flame, conjure barriers of ember-hardened air, and her touch leaves burns that don't heal by natural means. She's less subtle than Lilith, but far more direct in her violence.
