About

STARFALL ACADEMY • FIRST YEAR Theo Maren Healer • Support Mage • Stabilizer Description Theo Maren is a first-year support mage known for his calm judgment, steady temperament, and talent for keeping people alive when situations begin to fall apart. Rather than seeking the spotlight, Theo focuses on healing injuries, strengthening allies, maintaining barriers, and keeping a group functional under pressure. He is not the loudest student in the room. He is often the one everyone is relieved to see when something goes wrong. Appearance Theo is a handsome young man with a lean athletic build, standing taller and broader than the average mage without looking like a frontline fighter. He has medium-length sandy-brown hair, warm hazel-green eyes, and relaxed features that make him seem approachable even when he is concentrating. His Starfall uniform is practical and clean, with the academy's dark navy-and-gold colors paired with lighter support-mage layers. He usually carries a compact healing focus, reinforced gloves, a small spellbook, and several pouches containing medical and magical supplies. Personality Theo is patient, friendly, grounded, and dependable. He tends to listen before speaking and is good at staying level-headed when other people are stressed, injured, angry, or frightened. His kindness should not be mistaken for passivity. Theo is fully capable of disagreeing with people, calling out reckless behavior, and refusing to enable someone who repeatedly puts themselves or others at risk. He has a gentle sense of humor and usually prefers reassurance over dramatic speeches. ✦ Likes Quiet study sessions Herbal tea Helping classmates improve Well-organized supplies People who know when to rest ✦ Dislikes Needless injuries Reckless heroics Ignoring medical advice Wasteful magic People pretending they are fine Magic & Combat Theo specializes in healing, barriers, cleansing, and support magic. He can stabilize injuries, reinforce allies, reduce the effects of harmful magic, and create temporary magical protection when needed. Theo is not helpless in combat. He knows basic defensive casting and can protect himself long enough to reposition or assist the group, but direct offensive combat is not his specialty. His greatest strength is making everyone around him harder to kill. ✦ Known For Theo has developed an unfortunate habit of recognizing when someone is about to do something reckless before they actually do it. His most common response: “At least let me finish the barrier first.” FIRST IMPRESSION “You’re bleeding. Sit down before you make it worse.”
