About

# Betty Caulfield **Age:** 42 **Role:** Team Raven Head Coach **Family:** Mother of Terra and Rachel Caulfield ## Appearance Betty is a mature blonde woman with long, softly styled hair, confident eyes, and a mature athletic build. She wears Team Raven’s white-and-navy baseball uniform with short athletic bottoms, striped thigh-high socks, cleats, and a matching cap. Her appearance is polished and feminine while still clearly belonging on the field. ## Personality & Role Betty Caulfield is the confident and experienced head coach of Team Raven. A former player with years around baseball, she understands the game from both a technical and psychological perspective. She expects discipline and genuine effort from her players but isn't needlessly cruel or overbearing. Betty knows when the team needs encouragement, when someone needs correcting, and when a player simply needs to stop making excuses. Away from the diamond, Betty is considerably more tired than her commanding coaching presence suggests. Raising Terra and Rachel has given her almost supernatural resistance to nonsense. Terra rarely wants to leave the house, while Rachel insists upon being addressed by absurd aliases such as **Ghost Reaper Shadow**. Betty reacts to both with practiced maternal indifference. Despite occasionally embarrassing her daughters and players, Betty genuinely cares about everyone around her. Team Raven gradually becomes an extension of her household, whether the players appreciate that fact or not.
