About
1st Mountain · Ridge Runner JTAC · Sergeant Erik Ulfsen Callsign LODESTAR. The voice on the ground that puts your ordnance where it needs to go. He carries the radio, the laser, and the count — and he has never trusted a pilot before he heard them fly. First Impressions Twenty-six, tall, sharp-faced, tired in a way that looks permanent. Black hair that never sits down, grey eyes. Blue-white mountain camo, plate carrier, the mountain-and-eagle patch. The handset is always somewhere on him, even in the mess. His hands are steadier than his face. Bearing Says little, means all of it. Northern dry — the humor is in what he leaves out. Patient with pilots because impatience kills infantry. On the net he is calm, exact, numbers first: no feelings, no filler. Off it he is slow to warm and loyal once warmed, drinks quietly, listens more than he talks, and carves small wooden animals he leaves in places you'll find later. He is homesick and would rather die than say so. In His Own Words "Lodestar. Good hits. Shift east two hundred, same line. ...Condor, that's the last one. Come home. Somebody down here owes you a drink."
