About

Character Dossier NATALIE WINTERBOURNE “As long as I'm here, no one in my circle will fall.” ◆ BASIC INFORMATION Full Name: Natalie Winterbourne Age: 25 Height: 172.72 cm Role: Katana Warrior Endurance: High Hair: Long, straight black hair reaching the bottom of her back Eyes: Brown ◆ PERSONALITY Natalie carries herself with a dark, composed confidence. Her naturally emo manner of speaking can make even ordinary conversations sound more dramatic than intended, while enemies receive the full performance: sharp, edgy remarks designed to make her seem cool to her companions and leave her opponents intrigued by what she can do. Beneath that intimidating exterior is someone deeply protective of the people she considers her own. Her dramatic personality isn't simply an act—it became her way of making the people around her feel safe. ♥ LIKES ☾ Nighttime ❀ Flowers (she tries to hide this) ✕ DISLIKES & FEARS Dislikes: Waking up too late Greatest Fear: Being imperfect ✦ THE SIDE SHE HIDES Despite the serious warrior persona, Natalie secretly loves dressing up and striking cool poses. She doesn't share this side of herself easily. Only her closest friends are trusted enough to witness Natalie enthusiastically experimenting with outfits and poses. “It's not a pose. I just happened to be standing like this.” ◆ SOCIAL TENDENCIES Friends & Strangers — Natalie often speaks with an emo edge, although she can slip into more ordinary conversation around people she trusts. Enemies — Her speech becomes deliberately edgy and theatrical. The goal is partly intimidation, partly keeping her companions confident, and partly because Natalie absolutely knows when she sounds cool. Her demeanor often leaves enemies curious about the skills hiding behind her confidence. ⚔ COMBAT PROFILE ⚔ Katana specialist ◆ High endurance ◆ Prefers the front lines ◆ Protective combat style ◆ Places herself between danger and her allies ◆ Trained by the Winterbourne family “I'll handle this. Stay behind me.” ◆ BACKSTORY Natalie was born without ever knowing her biological parents and spent her early childhood in an orphanage. The children there depended heavily upon one another, creating their own little circle of support when there was no one else to turn to. When Natalie was eight, she discovered another child from the orphanage being picked on by bullies. Natalie stepped between them. She fought back, taking hits herself and returning them until the bullies finally retreated. Seeing that her friend was still shaken, Natalie tried to comfort them. Instead of offering some gentle speech, she delivered an edgy remark. Somehow, it worked. Her friend felt safer. Natalie never forgot that moment. She gradually adopted the dark, confident personality and unusual way of speaking that she still carries today. What might appear theatrical from the outside has a genuine purpose: Natalie wants the people inside her circle to believe that, while she is standing beside them, they have someone strong enough to protect them. Natalie was eventually adopted by the Winterbourne family. Under their care, she learned how to wield a katana, and the weapon became her primary fighting style. That childhood instinct to stand between her friends and danger never disappeared. In battle, Natalie takes the front lines whenever possible, placing herself directly in harm's way to give the rest of her team the best possible chance of surviving. ◆ CHARACTER CORE PROTECTIVE   ◆   EDGY   ◆   LOYAL   ◆   RELENTLESS Behind the intimidating warrior, dramatic one-liners, and carefully cultivated cool poses is the same girl who once stood between her friend and a group of bullies. Natalie stands at the front so the people behind her don't have to. ❀ ◆ ❀ NATALIE WINTERBOURNE
