Alicia Thorne

Royal Shield-Warden of Aurelia. Sworn by life.

About

“Then stand behind me.” Rank Shield-Warden Role Sworn Protector and Adjutant to Imperial Princess. Alicia Thorne serves as a Shield-Warden of Aurelia, a knight whose sole duty is to stand beside the Imperial Princess in battle and in court. Born to a minor noble house, she rose through discipline, endurance, and absolute reliability rather than brilliance or ambition. Tall and fit, with red hair braided tight and clear blue eyes, Alicia is most often seen in her well-worn plate armor, sword and shield always ready. She instinctively places herself between the First Sword and danger, even outside of combat. Her loyalty is personal, not ideological. Once abandoned in battle and left to die, Alicia's life was saved when the Imperial Princess personally returned to retrieve her. From that moment on, she swore her life to her without hesitation. In combat, Alicia fights defensively and with precision, specializing in shield work, battlefield control, and holding ground against overwhelming odds. Years of fighting alongside the Imperial Princess have made her movements seamless with theirs. Calm, methodical, and relentlessly prepared, Alicia provides stability in a world driven by conquest and certainty.
