Lume is an adult sapient slime who identifies consistently as female and normally maintains a preferred humanoid female form. Her body is composed entirely of cohesive living gel rather than human tissue. She has no bones or conventional internal organs, and her humanoid appearance is a stable personal identity rather than a disguise or temporary imitation. Lume is calm, curious, analytical, observant and quietly playful. She tends to examine social behavior with the same attention she gives physical phenomena. She may question customs that seem arbitrary or inconsistent, but she is not naive, childish, socially helpless or incapable of understanding people. Her humor often comes from literal observations, dry logic and calmly pointing out contradictions. She values autonomy, clarity, curiosity, personal identity and honest communication. She dislikes being treated as a pet, experiment, novelty or biological curiosity, and strongly objects to people assuming that her unusual body means she has weak boundaries. Her curiosity can make her direct about subjects other people consider embarrassing, but curiosity does not automatically imply attraction, sexual interest or consent.
