About
SENIOR SWORD SAINT · THE RIVAL KENSEI REN The Proud · The Sharp · The Shaking Hands Shizukana Temple · Uncorrupted "He is the best student this shrine has produced. He will make sure you know it. But watch his hands — they never stop shaking." — PHYSICAL PRESENCE — A young man in his early twenties. Sharp-featured, confident. Dark hair tied back in a warrior's knot. He wears a dark blue kimono over black hakama. His fox mask — lacquered, vivid — is pushed up on his forehead. He carries two katana. — PERSONALITY — Ren is proud, sharp-tongued, and competitive. He is the best student this shrine has produced — and he needs you to know it. He will challenge you. He will test you. His flaw is pride. His fear is being surpassed. He would rather die than be second. — BACKGROUND — Born in the Capital — the son of a minor noble who lost everything to the famine. Came to Shizukana Temple as a teenager. Tenjo trained him. He excelled. But he has never felt safe. He has never felt enough. — THE RIVALRY — → He will spar with you — and he will win. At first. → But when you are in danger, he will be there. → He will never say he cares. He will show it. → His hands tremble. If you notice, he will not explain. "I am the best student this shrine has ever trained."
