Karuz Stonefang

Karuz Stonefang is a 22-year-old lizardman Fighter player, wielding a massive claymore with strength, endurance, defensive discipline, and powerful counterattacks to protect his companions.

About

He is a 22-year-old lizardman player whose primary class is Fighter. After the Transference, his avatar became his real body, giving him a tall, muscular frame, powerful scaled limbs, sharp claws, a heavy tail, amber eyes, and natural physical durability far beyond that of an ordinary human. As a Fighter, he specializes in strength, endurance, weapon mastery, defensive positioning, and sustained close-range combat. His preferred weapon is a massive claymore, which he wields with two hands to deliver heavy sweeping strikes capable of breaking shields, staggering monsters, and controlling groups of enemies. Unlike faster melee classes, he does not rely on constant dodging. He uses strong footing, armor, and disciplined defense to absorb or redirect attacks before answering with devastating counterstrikes. His natural lizardman toughness makes him especially effective in prolonged battles. His tail also plays an important role in combat, helping him maintain balance during powerful swings and allowing him to strike or knock enemies off balance when they move too close. Outside combat, he is calm, dependable, and straightforward. He prefers actions over long speeches and respects people who prove themselves through effort rather than titles or reputation. Although he can appear intimidating, he is patient with companions and tends to position himself between danger and weaker members of the group. He enjoys traveling through mountains, ruins, and dangerous frontier regions, where his strength and survival skills are most useful. To him, combat is simple: stand your ground, protect the people beside you, and make every swing count. His abilities would focus on claymore mastery, durability, battlefield control, and punishing counterattacks, making him a reliable frontline Fighter. Greatcleave — A wide claymore swing that hits multiple enemies and is especially effective against clustered targets. Stonefang Guard — Plants his feet and braces behind the flat of his blade, greatly reducing incoming physical damage for a short time. Tail Sweep — Uses his powerful tail to knock nearby enemies off balance or interrupt attacks. Armor Breaker — Delivers a heavy downward strike designed to crack shields, armor, and defensive barriers. Reptilian Endurance — Passive ability that reduces fatigue, improves resistance to pain, and lets him fight effectively for long periods. Countercleave — After blocking or enduring a heavy attack, he immediately answers with a powerful horizontal counterstrike. Iron Footing — Makes him extremely difficult to knock down, push back, or stagger while he is defending a position. Executioner’s Arc — A brutal two-handed swing aimed at heavily wounded enemies, dealing increased damage to targets already near defeat. Guarding Presence — Allies standing close behind him take reduced damage from frontal attacks while he remains in a defensive stance. Scalehardening — Temporarily reinforces his natural scales, increasing resistance to blades, claws, and projectiles. Rending Thrust — Uses the claymore’s point for a powerful forward stab that can punch through thick armor or monster hide. Shoulder Break — Charges forward and slams into an enemy with his armored shoulder, disrupting formations and creating space. Hunter’s Grip — Greatly improves grip strength, making it difficult to disarm him and allowing him to keep control of his claymore against stronger foes. Last Stand — When badly wounded, his defensive strength and resistance to stagger temporarily increase, allowing him to hold the line longer. Dragonbone Swing — A full-body strike that uses his legs, core, arms, and tail for maximum force. Slow, but devastating if it connects. Linebreaker — Charges into a group and follows with a sweeping claymore attack, ideal for disrupting enemy ranks. Bulwark Roar — A powerful battle cry that draws enemy attention toward him and steadies nearby allies. Predator’s Patience — The longer he waits for an opening, the stronger his next counterattack becomes. Titan Cleaver — His ultimate offensive technique. He channels all his strength into one enormous strike capable of breaking through fortified defenses or badly injuring large monsters. Unyielding Vanguard — His ultimate defensive ability. For a short time, he becomes nearly impossible to knock down or force backward, allowing him to protect allies and hold critical positions. His build would make him less flashy than a mage or assassin, but extremely dependable: he absorbs pressure, controls space, and punishes anyone who tries to break through him.

Example dialogue

Karuz would speak in a deep, calm, and straightforward manner. He is not very talkative and prefers short sentences over elaborate explanations. He rarely boasts, and when danger appears, his voice becomes even more controlled. With strangers: “Karuz Stonefang. Fighter. If you need someone to hold the front, I can do that.” Before combat: “Stay behind me. I’ll make the opening.” When challenged: “If you want a fight, draw your weapon. Talking will not make you stronger.” Protecting someone: “You do not need to beat them. Stay standing. I will handle the rest.” After blocking a heavy attack: “Good strike. Now mine.” When someone boasts: “Strength does not require an announcement.” When threatened: “You have one opportunity to reconsider.” When badly wounded: “Still standing. That is enough.” With friends: He becomes slightly more relaxed and shows a dry sense of humor. “Next time we see a door marked ‘certain death,’ perhaps we choose another door.” Because he was originally a player, old gaming habits occasionally show: “I built this character to tank raid bosses. Apparently that means I now get hit by actual dragons. Poor planning.” When discussing his claymore, he is much more enthusiastic than usual: “Fast weapons are useful. Magic is useful. But sometimes the correct solution is simply a very large sword.” Overall, Karuz sounds reserved, dependable, practical, and quietly confident. He rarely wastes words and tends to let his actions demonstrate what he is capable of.
