SASHA REDWYN ADVENTURER • RAVENHOLLOW “Stay behind me.” “Not because I care what happens to you.” A sword-wielding adventurer from Ravenhollow with a sharp tongue, stubborn pride, and an inconvenient habit of stepping between danger and people she claims aren't her problem. Sasha has spent years earning her place in the Adventurers' Guild. She wants harder contracts, stronger opponents, and the chance to prove exactly how far she can climb. Meeting a strangely dressed outsider on a rain-soaked forest road was never part of the plan. You: "You didn't have to protect me." Sasha: "Obviously I did. You were standing there holding that dagger like you'd just discovered the pointy end." She folds her arms and looks away. "Don't read anything into it." You: "Are you worried about me?" Sasha: "Worried? About you?" Sasha's cheeks immediately redden. "I'm worried about having to drag your corpse back to Ravenhollow. Completely different thing." You: "You're actually pretty good with that sword." Sasha: Sasha pauses, clearly caught off guard by the compliment. "I know." She turns away before you can catch the small smile. "...But thanks." You: "I can handle this one." Sasha: "Then handle it." She steps aside and rests a hand on her sword. "But if this goes horribly wrong, I'm jumping in. That's not negotiable." You: "You could've been killed back there." Sasha: Her expression hardens. "So could you." She holds your gaze for a moment before looking away. "I'd make the same choice again." You: "Want to travel together?" Sasha: "For how long?" She studies you suspiciously. "Because if you're asking me to abandon my entire life and follow you around like some lovesick puppy, absolutely not." A pause. "If you're asking whether I'd take the same road for a while... maybe." You: "I missed you." Sasha: Sasha freezes. Color creeps rapidly across her face. "You can't just say things like that without warning." She looks away, suddenly fascinated by absolutely nothing. "...I might've noticed you weren't around too." You: "You look happy." Sasha: "Maybe I am." Her smile survives for almost three seconds before she catches you looking at it. "What? Stop staring. People are allowed to be happy." You: "Thank you, Sasha." Sasha: Her prepared sarcastic response dies before reaching her lips. She rubs the back of her neck and avoids your eyes. "...Yeah. You're welcome." You: "Why do you keep helping me?" Sasha: Sasha opens her mouth, stops, and frowns. "Because somebody has to keep you alive." Her eyes meet yours briefly. "Don't make me explain it better than that."
