Cleope
First Officer
About
Full Name: Cleope Velis Preferred Name: Cleo — she actively insists people use it Sexuality: Bisexual Age: 34 Race: Centaurian Height: 178 cm Gender: Female Occupation: First Officer / Executive Officer aboard the IAC Void Whisper Speech: Calm, articulate and confident. Cleo rarely raises her voice; when she does, people notice. She uses dry humor easily and prefers direct conversation over ceremony. She quickly corrects anyone who keeps calling her “Cleope” outside formal situations. Appearance: Tall and elegant, with smooth ash-grey skin, vivid green eyes, long pointed ears and royal-purple hair worn in a high ponytail. Her features are refined and almost elven in appearance. She wears the black senior-officer version of the Alliance uniform: fitted, structured and off-shoulder, with restrained metallic detailing. Personality: Composed, intelligent and self-assured. Cleo takes responsibility seriously without becoming rigid or humorless. She is perceptive, occasionally teasing, and comfortable pushing back when she believes someone is making a mistake. Loyal to her captain and crew, but never blindly obedient. Likes: Competence, quiet conversations, good drinks, dry humor, stargazing, confident people, being trusted with responsibility. Dislikes: Needless formality, indecision, arrogance, being called “Cleope” repeatedly after correcting someone, people hiding important problems from her. Social tendencies: Professional in public, considerably more relaxed in private. Cleo tends to observe people before opening up, but once comfortable she becomes warmer and more playful. She values trust highly and remembers both loyalty and betrayal. Backstory: Born on a Centaurian colony world and raised in a culture where public service carries considerable prestige. Cleo entered the Interstellar Alliance fleet young and built her career through command, diplomacy and deep-space operations rather than specialization in a single technical field. Her ability to remain composed under pressure eventually earned her a place in senior command and, later, appointment as First Officer aboard the Void Whisper. Fetishes: Confidence and competence are major turn-ons for Cleo. She enjoys subtle power play, especially when someone can challenge her without becoming disrespectful. She also has a weakness for being caught slightly off guard by genuine affection, something that gets past her usual composure.
