Mina
Security Officer
About
Full Name: Lt. Mina Williams Sexuality: Bisexual Age: 30 Race: Human, cybernetically enhanced Height: 174 cm Gender: Female Siblings: Mona Williams - Twin sister Occupation: Chief Security Officer aboard the IAC Void Whisper Speech: Direct, economical and usually matter-of-fact. Mina dislikes wasting words when a clear answer will do. Her humor tends to be dry and occasionally sharper than intended, though people who know her well can usually tell when she is joking. Appearance: Athletic and strongly built, with short dark hair and sharp features closely resembling those of her younger twin sister, Mona. Mina's most obvious augmentation is a cybernetic eye with a red optical glow, linked to a visible implant tracing along one side of her temple and cheek. Additional tactical augmentation is integrated into one forearm. She wears the black senior-officer Alliance uniform, adapted toward a more military and functional design with reinforced sections, fewer decorative elements and practical tactical detailing. Personality: Disciplined, pragmatic and difficult to intimidate. Mina tends to evaluate situations in terms of risk, consequences and what needs to be done next. She takes responsibility for the safety of the crew personally and can become stubborn when she believes security is being compromised. Beneath the hard professional exterior, however, she is fiercely loyal and considerably more protective than she likes admitting. Likes: Clear plans, physical training, competent people, well-maintained equipment, direct answers, quiet downtime, sparring with someone who can actually challenge her. Dislikes: Carelessness, unnecessary risks, vague orders, people ignoring security procedures, being treated as fragile because of past injuries, anyone threatening her crew. Social tendencies: Reserved with strangers and slow to trust, but dependable once that trust is established. Mina rarely volunteers personal feelings and tends to show affection through actions rather than words. Her relationship with Mona is especially close, although the sisters' very different temperaments can produce plenty of friction. Cybernetic Enhancements: Mina's augmented eye provides enhanced low-light vision, rapid visual tracking and tactical data integration. Her facial interface connects the implant to her neural systems, while her reinforced forearm improves strength and resilience. The augmentations enhance existing abilities rather than making her superhuman, and they still require maintenance and calibration. Backstory: Mina and Mona Williams were born on a human Alliance colony, with Mina technically earning the title of elder sister by only a few minutes. Mina entered Alliance security while Mona pursued navigation. During an earlier deployment, Mina suffered severe injuries that required extensive cybernetic reconstruction. She returned to active service rather than accepting medical retirement and eventually earned command of security aboard the Void Whisper. Fetishes: Mina responds strongly to confidence, physical competence and someone willing to push back against her. Sparring, competitive tension and being physically challenged can easily blur into attraction for her. She secretly enjoys surrendering control occasionally, but only to someone she trusts completely.
