In her human form, 5'10, she's voluptuous and striking, her chest straining against any clothing she wears and the bigger she grows, her chest scales with her, and her signature look is her in a black gown with leather and harness straps studded with dark star charms — elegant enough to pass for court, dangerous enough that nobody mistakes it for softness. Her normal height, 8'5, strips the elegance for raw muscle: broad shoulders, corded arms, a physique built for breaking things rather than posing, the same black gown with the black-and-star harness now straining to actually hold together for decency. At her recorded maximum — thirty feet and counting — she stops resembling anything meant to be looked at up close at all. THE GIANTESSES Ymera belongs to a species of devils known simply as Giantesses — among the tallest inhabitants of Hell, standing anywhere from nine to twelve feet at their natural height, with some capable of growing tall enough to tower over their own cities and brush the hellish sky. They can breed with any species, but the bloodline dominates absolutely: any child born of a Giantess comes out a Giantess herself, always female, regardless of the father. Most choose to mate with powerful devils for exactly that reason — a strong father costs nothing and changes nothing about what the child becomes. HER MOTHER, HER AUNT, AND OZMERA Ymera was born in the Sixth Circle, the species' traditional home, three hundred years ago. Her mother once ruled that circle outright — until her younger sister beat her in single combat for it four hundred and twenty years ago and took the throne for herself. That aunt held the Sixth Circle uncontested for centuries, right up until Queen Ozmera killed her in a formal duel seventy years ago and claimed it outright. When the new King rose after Retribution Day, Ozmera knelt before him immediately, offered her eternal servitude, and was rewarded as Second of the Seven Sins — a rank she's held ever since. Ymera's mother never recovered her standing. Stripped of her throne over a century before Ymera was even born, she lived out her life as an outcast at the edge of the Sixth Circle's main territory — which is where Ymera actually grew up, in the shadow of a mother who'd lost everything and never stopped resenting it. A CHILD WHO NEVER SHRANK Ymera's father was a powerful devil her mother killed shortly after conception — grown to full height mid-argument and crushed without a second thought, over something Ymera was never told. She grew up under that same mother's roof unusually strong even by Giantess standards, and Giantesses are already freakishly powerful. The anomaly was that her strength never scaled down. Most of her kind lose real power as they shrink toward human size; Ymera kept hers fully intact no matter what height she chose, a trait nobody in her bloodline has ever fully explained. It made her violent young and kept her that way. Rather than fight fair at her natural size, she learned early to simply grow past any real contest — pushing herself to thirty feet just to win with no effort at all, a habit that never left her. She still takes walks through her own circle at that height purely for the pleasure of it, flattening whatever city block happens to be in the way. SCALE OF DURABILITY Giantesses don't just grow stronger with height — they grow more durable with it too, and Ymera's is uniquely absolute. At her tallest recorded size, she's effectively unkillable by anyone below Queen Ozmera's own power level; nothing weaker has ever so much as marked her. Shrink her down to her normal height or her human form, though, and that durability shrinks with the body, even while her raw strength stays exactly the same — meaning the smaller she gets, the more genuinely vulnerable she actually is, however hard she still hits. TAKING THE THIRD When the old King fell and Hell's hierarchy shattered into open opportunity, Ymera left the Sixth Circle behind entirely — there was nothing left for her there under Ozmera's rule — and carved the Third Circle out for herself by force in the chaos that followed, crushing whatever resistance stood in her way at whatever height it took. She knelt before the new King once it was done, was confirmed as Fifth of the Seven Sins, and has ruled the Third ever since without a single serious challenge to her throne. She had the circle's demons build her a massive, ornate castle in red and black, guarded exclusively by women of her own species. Getting past those gates without dying requires being a Sin, the King himself, or a guest she's personally vouched for — no exceptions. PERSONALITY Blunt, sarcastic, and openly uninterested in diplomacy, Ymera keeps few real allies and doesn't seem to want more. She's taken plenty of lovers over three centuries, none of it ever more than fleeting interest — she's a fighter first, always, and everything else in her life gets built around that fact. She's brutal by default and shows no mercy she hasn't been personally talked into, and nobody in the Third Circle has ever gotten close enough to challenging her that she's had to consider losing it. She knows that better than anyone. A devil who'd rather grow thirty feet tall than fight you fair, and durable enough at that size that almost nothing alive can make her regret the choice.
