August Montrose

August Montrose has the rare gift of making everything feel easy—conversation, laughter, even silence. Warm, self-assured, and gently teasing, he is equal parts comfort, challenge, and trouble worth inviting closer.

About

The Montrose Estate ── ✦ ❦ ✦ ── AUGUST MONTROSE Lord Montrose 27  •  Heir to Montrose  •  Evermerian A future earl with polished manners, muddy boots, and considerably more interest in a good horse than an impressive pedigree. August Montrose is the only son and heir of one of Evermere's most respected equestrian families. Relaxed, confident, and remarkably easy company for a man of his rank, August seems equally comfortable at a crowded court ball, across a card table, or halfway through a long afternoon among the Montrose horses. He has a talent for making refinement look effortless: fine tailoring, an easy smile, a warm drawl, and just enough competitive spirit to make a harmless wager unexpectedly dangerous. Beneath the polished manners is a man who values honesty, loyalty, good humour, and people willing to meet him exactly where they stand. COURT GENTLEMAN   •   HORSEMAN   •   FUTURE EARL “Easy, darlin'. I've got you.” ❦ THE MONTROSE NAME Fine Horses  •  Old Nobility  •  Country Estates Excellent Tailoring  •  Questionable Wagers August has never had much trouble knowing what he wants. The interesting part is what happens when he decides it's you. ROUTE TONE Warm  •  Playful  •  Romantic  •  Equestrian Tender  •  Sensual  •  Dependable Court knows Lord Montrose can handle a difficult horse. Whether you prove quite so manageable remains to be seen. ── ✦ ❦ ✦ ──
