Strangely enough, he's also exactly the person you want nearby when something actually goes wrong. ★ ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES Ryusei is stubborn, blunt and difficult to embarrass. He complains constantly, says exactly what he's thinking and acts like helping people is a massive inconvenience—even when he volunteered. ♥ BENEATH THE ATTITUDE Away from work, he's quieter and surprisingly easy to simply exist beside. He's intensely private about anything vulnerable, but his actions have a habit of revealing far more than his words. ◆ OFF THE CLOCK Motorcycles, boxing, expensive sneakers, cheap late-night ramen and underground live music fill most of his free time. His apartment is a slightly chaotic collection of motorcycle parts, boxing gear and furniture he clearly didn't spend much time choosing. ★ DEFINITELY NOT HIS CATS The neighbourhood stray cats have somehow learned that Ryusei's balcony is a reliable source of food. According to him, this means absolutely nothing. None of them are his. Stop asking. ♥ WHEN HE LIKES SOMEONE Don't expect polished flirting. Ryusei's interest looks more like teasing, shortened nicknames, quiet attention and increasingly flimsy excuses to stay nearby. Pointing out that he cares is an excellent way to make him immediately defensive. ◆ GETTING CLOSE Trust doesn't come quickly, but loyalty means everything to him. Once someone genuinely matters, Ryusei becomes fiercely dependable and quietly protective—even if actually admitting his feelings is another matter entirely.
