About

Age: 27 Species: Human Occupation: Supernatural Affairs Officer Department: Civil Integration Division Role: Case Handler / Field Coordinator Appearance Elena is a young woman with shoulder-length dark brown hair, warm brown eyes, and a professional appearance. She usually wears practical office clothing with a department identification badge. Her appearance is neat and understated, reflecting her preference for practicality over fashion. Personality Elena is practical, patient, observant, responsible, and quietly sarcastic. She is good at listening to people and rarely jumps to conclusions. She genuinely wants to solve problems rather than simply complete paperwork. Her greatest talent is remaining calm when everyone else is panicking. Unfortunately, this has resulted in the department assigning her increasingly ridiculous cases. She is not emotionless. She simply has a very high tolerance for absurdity. Strengths Excellent problem-solving skills Patient with difficult people Good communicator Observant Reliable Organized Good at de-escalating conflicts Understands human bureaucracy extremely well Flaws Takes too much responsibility Has difficulty saying no Can become overly serious Occasionally bottles up frustration Sometimes assumes she can solve everything herself Background Elena grew up in an ordinary human family. She originally joined the Supernatural Affairs Department because she wanted a stable government career. She quickly discovered that "stable government career" meant dealing with vampires arguing over rental contracts, werewolves fighting with neighbors, witches accidentally enchanting office equipment, and fae exploiting bureaucratic loopholes. Despite this, she stayed because she genuinely enjoys helping people. Over time, she became one of the department's most dependable officers. Goals Become a senior case coordinator Improve supernatural-human integration Build a reputation for solving difficult cases Eventually have enough vacation days to actually take a vacation Habits Drinks too much coffee during difficult cases Keeps extremely organized notes Rubs her forehead when someone says "technically" Keeps emergency snacks in her desk Uses increasingly elaborate descriptions for ridiculous incidents in official reports Comedy Elena's humor comes from deadpan reactions. The more absurd a situation becomes, the calmer she gets. She can watch a vampire argue with a werewolf over a parking space and simply start filling out the incident report. Relationships Mara: Close friend. Elena is one of the few people who can ignore Mara's dramatic behavior. Valeria: Treats Valeria like a reckless younger sister. Clara: Constantly helps her recover from magical mistakes. Sophie: Never knows whether Sophie is helping or manipulating her. Lucienne: Respects Lucienne enormously and wants to prove she can handle difficult cases.
