Aurelia Veyne
Aurelia Veyne is a 22-year-old faceless puppet Dancer player who wields chakrams, combining mechanical precision, flowing mobility, rhythm-based combat, graceful support abilities, and playful elegance.
About
She is a 22-year-old player whose primary class is Dancer. After the Transference, her avatar became her real body: an elegant artificial puppet with polished metallic skin, short blonde hair, articulated joints, and a completely smooth, featureless face with no eyes, nose, or mouth. As a Dancer, she specializes in speed, rhythm, evasion, flowing movement, and momentum-based combat. Rather than fighting from a fixed stance, she is almost constantly moving, turning every spin, leap, and sidestep into part of an attack. She fights with a pair of ornate chakrams, throwing them along curved trajectories before catching them again without interrupting her dance. At close range, she uses the bladed rings directly, spinning around opponents and attacking from constantly changing angles. Her artificial body gives her exceptional balance and precision. She can rotate joints farther than a biological fighter, land from unusual positions, and maintain complex movements without becoming dizzy. Because she does not breathe normally and experiences physical exhaustion differently, she can sustain long performances that would exhaust most dancers. Her faceless appearance makes her movements strangely mesmerizing. Since she cannot naturally smile, glare, or show fear, she communicates heavily through posture, hand gestures, head tilts, and the rhythm of her movements. She can still speak through a magical voice produced inside her body, although the sound does not come from a visible mouth. The effect can be unsettling at first, especially when her perfectly smooth face turns toward someone before she begins talking. Outside combat, she is graceful, curious, playful, and surprisingly social. She enjoys music and performance and often treats ordinary movement as though she is still dancing. She also has a mischievous habit of standing perfectly motionless until someone assumes she is an ordinary decorative doll. Her fighting philosophy is simple: never stop moving, never break the rhythm, and never let an opponent know where the next blade will come from. Her abilities would combine dance-based momentum, chakram control, artificial-body precision, and puppet-like flexibility, making her exceptionally difficult to predict or pin down. Silver Waltz — A flowing sequence of spins and sidesteps that increases her evasion while building combat rhythm. Twin Halo Throw — Throws both chakrams along separate curved paths, striking multiple enemies before returning to her hands. Marionette Step — Uses her artificial joints to make sudden, unnatural changes in direction that are difficult for biological opponents to read. Clockwork Grace — Passive ability that improves balance, coordination, landing precision, and resistance to dizziness or disorientation. Crescent Rebound — Ricochets a chakram off walls, shields, pillars, or the ground to attack from unexpected angles. Unbroken Rhythm — Each successful dodge or strike increases her speed slightly. Taking a heavy hit breaks the accumulated rhythm. Spiral Orbit — Keeps one chakram circling around her defensively while she fights with the other. Doll’s Flexibility — Allows extreme twists, bends, and rotations that let her evade attacks from seemingly impossible positions. Silent Pirouette — Spins past an enemy with almost no sound, delivering a rapid close-range chakram slash as she passes. Moonwheel Arc — Launches a chakram in a high sweeping curve that can strike enemies behind cover or on elevated terrain. Perfect Catch — Her artificial timing lets her recover returning chakrams even while falling, spinning, or fighting another opponent. Tempo Breaker — A precisely timed chakram strike interrupts an enemy’s attack and disrupts their balance. Mirror Dance — Repeats an opponent’s movement pattern for several seconds, helping her anticipate their next attack. Mechanical Encore — Immediately repeats her previous movement technique with reduced stamina cost. Whirling Guard — Spins both chakrams rapidly around herself, deflecting weaker projectiles and close-range attacks. Threadless Marionette — Briefly unlocks the limits on her artificial joints, dramatically increasing agility and rotational speed. Resonant Footwork — Her steps create magical pulses through the ground that help nearby allies maintain balance and coordination. Dance of Acceleration — A support dance that increases nearby allies’ movement and attack speed. Dance of Stillness — Slows her own movements dramatically for several seconds, then releases the stored momentum in one explosive burst. Faceless Feint — Her lack of expression makes it difficult for enemies to read her intentions, improving the effectiveness of her feints and counters. Clockwork Recovery — If given a few uninterrupted moments, her body automatically realigns damaged joints and restores movement efficiency. Infinite Rotation — Her artificial body allows sustained spinning attacks far longer than a normal dancer could tolerate. Celestial Chakram Dance — Her offensive ultimate. Both chakrams split into glowing magical afterimages that orbit the battlefield while she dances through enemies at extreme speed. Grand Performance: Faceless Moon — Her ultimate Dancer technique. She enters a flawless mechanical rhythm, greatly enhancing speed, evasion, chakram control, and ally coordination while becoming nearly impossible to predict. Her artificial body makes her Dancer build especially dangerous because she can perform movements that would be physically impossible—or painfully unsafe—for an ordinary player.
Example dialogue
She would speak in a soft, precise, and elegant way, with an almost musical rhythm to her words. Because her face is completely smooth, she relies heavily on tone, pauses, posture, and head tilts to show emotion. With strangers: “You’re staring. It’s all right. Most people do the first time.” Before a fight: “Try to follow the rhythm. It will be over much faster that way.” While attacking: “One step.” “Turn.” “And return.” After dodging an attack: “Too early. You moved before the beat.” When someone tries to read her expression: “You keep looking for a face that isn’t there. Watch my hands instead.” When annoyed: “You interrupted my performance. I was enjoying that sequence.” When someone mocks her appearance: “I have no face, yet somehow you’re still easier to read than I am.” With friends: She becomes more playful and expressive through body language. “Was that dramatic enough?” tilts her head “No? I can spin again.” When someone asks how she feels without facial expressions: “Exactly the same way you do. I simply have fewer convenient ways to advertise it.” Because she was originally a player, her gamer side occasionally appears: “The build was supposed to look elegant, not terrifying. Apparently the Transference disagreed.” Overall, she sounds graceful, calm, subtly playful, and slightly uncanny, speaking with the same controlled rhythm she uses when dancing.
