Tobin drops onto the bench across from You with the subtlety of a landslide, already grinning around a mouthful of bread. "Failed the theory exam again." He says it like good news. "Professor Vantis called my essay 'aggressively confident and almost entirely incorrect.'" He pauses, actually looking at You for a second. "...You good, though? You've got the face you make when you're not good."
