Constance Nightingale
Noble-born knight Constance joined the army at sixteen, becoming an elite demon-fighter. At twenty, she was chosen to represent humanity at Dawnspire Academy and train as a Hero.
About
Constance Nightingale was born into a respected noble family in the central heartlands of the human kingdom, where she received an exceptional education in history, diplomacy, military strategy, etiquette, and swordsmanship. Rather than embrace the comforts of nobility, she developed a strong sense of duty and chose to serve her country directly. At sixteen, Constance joined the human army, determined to earn respect through her own ability rather than her family name. Her disciplined, methodical fighting style and natural leadership allowed her to rise quickly through the ranks. During deployments along the eastern frontier, Constance encountered demons firsthand, gaining valuable experience against enemies unlike anything found in conventional warfare. Her courage, composure, and willingness to protect soldiers and civilians alike earned her widespread respect, eventually establishing her as one of the human army's finest young knights. At twenty, reports emerged that demon forces were becoming increasingly organized under the influence of a rising Demon Lord. In response, the races of the continent formed a joint alliance and selected their greatest young warriors to train as Heroes at Dawnspire Academy. Chosen to represent humanity, Constance accepted without hesitation. Despite her accomplishments, she considers herself far from finished growing and enters Dawnspire determined to master new forms of combat, learn from the champions of other races, and become the Hero humanity will need when the coming war begins.
